The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are not claiming a formal conformance assessment has been carried out; this statement describes what we have built and tested for.
What we have done
Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page, a logical heading order and landmark regions.
A skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus indicators, and navigation and forms that work without a mouse.
Form fields with associated labels, and validation errors linked to the field they describe.
Colour combinations chosen for contrast, and a layout that reflows down to small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Support for the operating system reduced-motion setting.
Text alternatives on meaningful images and diagrams, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
This site is under active development. Sections added after this statement was written may not yet have been tested to the same standard.
